Beara
The Beara peninsula is less well know than the more touristic Ring of Kerry, but more beautiful. Within its 60 Km length and 20Km average width 4500 inhabitants enjoy a wonderfull life. The slow pace of things allows people to have time to be human and kind.
The environement is uniquely unspoiled from a European perspective. Several Special Area's of Conservation protect wild life and plant species.
We have lived here permanently since 1994 and have enjoyed every minute of our early retirement from a busy and hective lifestyle in the Netherlands.
